The Kentucky Equine Adoption Center thanks everyone who came out to the  2018 Excel Equine Hunter Pace in July for making the event so much fun and raising money for the adoptable horses we are caring for and training!

We also asked for how old everyone's horse was, because we have some older horses at the Center who have years of productive life ahead of them, but sometimes their age makes people pass them over. You can see some of them at .
The average age of horses at the Excel Equine Hunter Pace was 12 1/2 years old, with three over the age of 20 and 12 aged 17 or older.
Marilyn Cannon, who happened to be on the winning trail team, rode the oldest horse at aged 22, and will receive a bag of Excel Equine Senior Feed as a prize!

Congratulations to all, and thank you so much for a great day at Flying Cross Farm!
