Ruffles is a laid-back, sweet gal who has been used in both our Stable Foundations and Equine EdVentures education programs. She does great around kids and larger groups of people. She is patient, kind, and loves a good grooming session. Ruffles is a great teacher and has been used to teach groundwork, basic horsemanship, parts of the horse, and much more to kids and adults seeking to further their equine knowledge. Ruffles is solid and confident in her groundwork, and stands tied patiently when in company.  Though she is pasture sound with the help of front shoes, she is a non-riding companion only due to arthritis and slight founder. Ruffles does have Cushing’s disease and requires daily medication. Special care should also be taken to meet her dietary needs and restrictions to prevent any further laminitis episodes and to keep her in good body condition.
