Volunteer Opportunities
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Kentucky Equine Adoption Center (KYEAC)! Volunteers are essential to our mission to help, heal, and home Kentucky's equines in need. Your time and energy are invaluable to us, and as an integral part of our organization, we truly appreciate your support. To get started, please download and complete the registration form by clicking on the button below.
As a volunteer, you can engage in various activities, including:

Daily Farm Activities: Assist with feeding, watering, mucking stalls, and other barn chores.

Office Work: Help with answering phones, organizing paperwork, and other administrative tasks to support our team.

Events and Fundraisers: Play a key role in supporting our mission by assisting with events and fundraising activities. Help with tasks such as event setup, takedown, and staffing to ensure everything runs smoothly and successfully.
Requirements:

Age: Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.

Orientation: All volunteers will undergo a brief on-site orientation conducted by our staff before beginning their duties.

Commitment: We encourage volunteers to commit to 8-10 hours per month. Shifts are available 7 days a week between 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Shift Times:
Morning Shift: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Some volunteers choose to stay for both shifts, taking a lunch break in between.
